Hot dawg

We went to a hot dog stall for dinner that has been in the same place since 1937.  I’m not a hot dog aficionado but they were goooood.  The seating outside had little wooden holders for the hot dogs.

We then ambled up Laugavegur street which is quite touristy and has lots of appealing scratchy knitwear shops.  It is pedestrianised due to the yellow painted bicycle barriers.

All of the scaffolding here is wooden which is unusual.  (Cannot decide if this is too nerdy to keep in the blog - it’s my blog so its staying in).

One of the really lovely things about Reykjavik is that lots of the streets lead down to a shoreline and mountain view.  We can also see it from our apartment (in between the other apartment blocks).
